For this class we decided to have rollerballs available to buy ahead of time for the class, to generate an interest in the class. If a participant ordered a rollerball we advised that they would need to pay the day of the class. We had great success with this. I ordered the Rollerball Remedies Make and Take kit from My Oil Business. This kit had the stickers and recipes to make the rollerballs. I ordered 10 mL roller bottles, a box of 24 from Amazon. I think that I used about half the box. haha!
Next what I did was type out the recipes from the rollerball kit, so that I could had them out in the packet I was making for the class. That way they had information on how to combine oils and how much. Here is the link to the recipes. I will also be posting them in my Printables section for future reference. I made copies at Staples, so that I wouldn't use up all of my ink from home.
I ordered the Natural Solutions booklet from Aromatools. I also bought blue pocket folders from Staples so that everything could be put together. I found a Natural Solutions picture, (this will also be in my Printables section) and colored copied them at Staples as well. I love the help yourself station at Staples!
So my packet included a Natural Solutions booklet, the recipe print out and blank pieces of paper to takes notes on. Oh, I also included my business card in the pocket, the folder had slits for the business cards. The packets were much appreciated as they had something to take home with them after the class was over and a contact.
We had a very good turnout for this class. Sheree and I brought our entire collection of essential oil products to show and share! We each had some different things that the other didn't which worked out perfectly! I wish I had taken a picture of our display, it looked good. We also offered some incentives. We had a few 5 mL bottles of different oils, that we handed out for those that would answer questions we would ask. We also had a prize for those that brought a friend, which was the Intro Kit. The girl who won was super excited! Another incentive that we offered was if they ordered a certain PV order. One lady walked away with our 200PV incentive and she was very excited.
We also had some refreshment. We had water and had the citrus oils available for them to try in their water. I also found a pasta salad recipe on the doTERRA blog. This was so that they could see that the oils are safe to consume. It was a super yummy pasta salad.
Overall this was a fun and interactive class! I also have to give a shout out to CJ, for hosting this at her house and in her beautiful backyard!
