Calming Blend and Cardamom

First off I just want to say that I LOVE essential oils!! They have done so much for me and my family since we started using them. My husband was skeptical at first and but now he will ask me what I have that can him with whatever it is that he needs help with. In fact that’s what I wanted to share in this post.

Last night both of the girls were fussy and to wired up, especially my 2 year old. Holy Moly that girl is a ball of energy! She definitely gives us a run for our money, but we love her. Okay, so to calm them down I rubbed the Serenity blend on the bottom of Miss Summer’s feet, she’s my 2 year old, and then rubbed some on the baby. Miss S calmed down and went to bed not too whiny. The baby needed a little bit more to calm her down b/c she was a bit gassy so I also rubbed the new oil Cardamom on her belly. Within a few mins she was sound asleep!!

Moving on to hubby, he was a little anxious b/c he was prepping for job interview and asked if there was something in my oil arsenal that would help him calm down. Why yes there is husband! I grabbed the Serenity and my fractionated coconut oil and proceeded to rub it onto his shoulders and neck. I massaged it in and he was commenting on how good it smelled and felt. Then he asked me to rub his temples and he started to relax. Score for mom last night!
Here are the oils I used.

Cardamom is not only good to maintain overall gastrointestinal health, it also promotes clear breathing and maintains respiratory health. It also smells so good! When I’ve rubbed it on the baby I just love holding her just to smell it! haha

Calming Blend: Now this has a wonderful smell! It has sandalwood in it which gives it its awesome sweet smell! This can be used topically and aromatically in a diffuser.
