Owie Spray

It seems like I'm talking a lot about miss Zoey these days, but who wouldn't, look at this adorable
face!

Anyways, she is my most sensitive baby, thus far, when it comes to her diapers. She always has a diaper rash, just as I get one cleared up another appears! I really have to be on top of making sure she stays dry down there. Well my solution has been the Owie Spray combo! This had been a life saver for my baby.

The Owie Spray is generally a combination of Melalueca and Lavendar essential oils, but I went a little bit further, I added Arborvitae and Frankincense. The addition of these other 2 oils has worked wonders, they have helped in aiding to clear up the diaper rash faster. I'll explain why this combination is a life saver and a must have for moms.

Melaleuca - also known as Tea Tree Oil, is renowned for its cleansing and rejuvenating effect on the skin, and promotes healthy immune function. It has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Lavender - is a calming and soothing oil. It helps soothe occasional skin irritations and helps with skin sensitivity.

Arborvitae - this has anti-bacterial and antiseptic properties. It's also a stimulant to promote healthy immune function.

Frankincense - this is a natural enhancer to all oils to help promote healing.

Not only have I used this combo on miss Z's bottom, but Summer had a burn on her hand from the curling iron. Mommy fail on that one. I was curling her hair for church on Sunday and she put her hand up and hit the curling iron. I didn't know until we were at church, doh! Anyways, I sprayed this on her hand and it helped reduce the redness in a couple of days. She now has a scar. :(

I also recently used it on Scott. He went camping and came home with a sunburned face. I rubbed some of this on his face and the next day the redness was gone! Amazing stuff I tell you!!

Ok, so here's how I apply on miss Zoey. I do one spritz, rub it in. Then, seal it with Bourdeaux's Butt Paste.

Butt Paste is also a mommy must have, it prevents moisture from soaking into the skin which causes the diaper rash. This combo clears up the diaper rash in about a day or two.
